Jordan Fuller bests Tom Brady in battle of 199th overall draft picks
It was a battle between draft weekend afterthoughts, and Los Angeles Rams rookie safety Jordan Fuller got the best of the greatest quarterback in NFL history.
In Monday night’s 27-24 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Fuller picked off Tom Brady not once but twice, including one in the final minutes to seal the victory for the Rams.
The fun stat in this duel? Both Fuller and Brady were the No. 199 overall picks in their respective drafts, with Fuller taking that spot in this year’s draft, and Brady owning that slot 20 years prior.
The worst part for some Brady fans? Fuller went to Ohio State, the bitter rival of Brady’s Michigan Wolverines.
