Josephine in 12 South will close, ending a 10-year run for the Nashville restaurant

Renowned 12 South restaurant Josephine will permanently close its doors next month, management announced in an Instagram post Friday.

“After 10 great years, We are sad to announce that we will be closing our doors permanently when our lease ends next month,” the post read.

The last day of service will be Dec. 23.

Led by James Beard Award semifinalist and one of Nashville's top chefs Andrew Little, the restaurant has been a culinary cornerstone of the 12 South neighborhood for the last decade. Little’s rotating seasonal menus for the New American eatery have married his Pennsylvania Dutch roots with Southern hospitality.

“We want to thank all of our guests, friends, neighbors and our fantastic team members for the love and support we have experienced over the past decade. Serving our community has been our joy and a true pleasure,” the post said.
