There is no such thing as a curse ... unless you’re talking about sports, right?

There’s the Sports Illustrated cover jinx, the Cubs’ Curse of the Billy Goat (that was exorcised in 2016) and, of course, the Madden Curse.

The latter was a hot topic Tuesday, one day after the Broncos’ 24-22 win at Buffalo.

Bills quarterback Josh Allen threw two interceptions and lost a fumble. Allen now has 11 interceptions and 13 total turnovers this season, and both are the most in the NFL, as CBS Sports noted.

Heading into the season, Allen was on the cover of the Madden NFL football game, and fans are wondering if that curse has continued. Others said that wasn’t the reason for Allen’s struggles.

And a few noted that one player avoided the curse: Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who was on the cover in 2019,. That season ended with the Chiefs winning Super Bowl LIV.

Here is some of what fans were saying.
