As we know, Josh Altman’s real estate business has been filled with exciting milestones lately. In addition to hitting $1 billion in sales last year and expanding to Orange County and San Diego, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent and his brother, Matt Altman, promoted Heather Bilyeu Altman to the position of CEO. On the show’s Season 14 premiere on December 8, Josh and Heather shared an update on how their office life is going now that Heather is (officially) in her new role.

“Making Heather CEO of The Altman Brothers was probably the best decision we’ve ever made,” Josh said in an interview, later adding, “I always knew that Heather should be a partner. She’s thriving in her ‘new position.’”

Heather is equally thrilled. “It’s so nice to finally get the title and the recognition from Josh and Matt,” she said in an interview. “Everyone else in the office knew it, everyone else in the real estate world knew it, but now we’re all on the same page and I get to call all the shots.”

In a recent interview with BravoTV.com, Heather shared more about the promotion. “I’ve been doing this, basically, since about month three of Josh and I dating. I was the CEO,” she quipped. “[He and Matt] just didn’t realize it. They didn’t want to acknowledge it.”

“We’re a great team, the three of us together,” she added. “I help balance them out.”
