Josiah Deguara, Packers tight end and ex-Cincinnati Bearcats standout, scores first NFL TD
Former Cincinnati Bearcats tight end Josiah Deguara of the Green Bay Packers scored his first NFL touchdown on Sunday against the Vikings in Minnesota.
Deguara's TD came on a 25-yard reception from Aaron Rodgers in the second quarter. Deguara had a 12-yard catch earlier in the first half.
Deguara entered Sunday's game with eight receptions for 53 yards this season. He missed most of his first NFL season with a torn ACL.

In April 2020, the Packers selected Deguara in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft - 94th overall. He was UC’s highest draft pick since Travis Kelce (No. 61 in 2013).
Kelce scored later in the day on a touchdown run for the Kansas City Chiefs:

Deguara finished his senior season at UC with 39 catches for 504 yards with seven touchdowns and was named all-American Athletic Conference first team.
