The Journal & Courier's best photos of the Big Ten Tournament

In a year of upsets and a tight race for the top tournament seeds, the Journal & Courier was in Chicago and captured moments from almost every game in possibly the most unpredictable Big Ten Men's Basketball Tournament of all time. Starting in the second round, the Journal & Courier covered every game up until the final.

This includes the Ohio State run to the semifinal game, inching their way further than any 13 seed ever has in the conference tournament. Penn State making the final for the first year since 2013, and for the second time in program history.

And on the last day of the Big Ten Tournament, when the Purdue Boilermakers lifted the tournament championship as Purdue head coach Matt Painter bested his former assistant, Penn State head coach Micah Shrewsberry. The Boilermakers brought home the tournament silverware for the second time in program history, setting the Boilermakers up for a number one seed in the NCAA Tournament.
