Jr. NTR is selfish: M.S. Reddy

Veteran producer and lyricist M.S. Reddy, popularly known as Mallemala, lashed out at actor Jr. NTR, stating on his autobiography 'Idee Naa Katha' that Jr. NTR is a most selfish person who doesn't keep his word. Reddy wrote that the young actor promised to do a film under his banner but he never fulfilled the promise. "I am the one who introduced him to silver screen with Ramayanam," Reddy mentioned. Citing another incident, the producer said: I asked Jr. NTR to wait for few minutes as Subbirami Reddy came to visit me. We were in the middle of a story narration then. But he left without notice, saying that his 'range' is too big to be kept waiting. He is very arrogant. Reacting to a question by a journalist, the producer said that Jr. NTR is a 'waste fellow'. He feels like a demigod. He cannot have a bright future in coming years. I can understand how he might have behaved with many other old people in the state, with the experience I had. The curse of older people who faced trouble from him will not leave him. If you feel my view is one-sided, call Jr. NTR and ask about this incident, the producer was quoted as saying. M.S. Reddy's comments did not go well with NTR fans, who are planning to register their protest by burning Reddy's autobiography. Jr. NTR is yet to comment to M.S. Reddy remarks.
