JSU football great Rashard Anderson passes away at 45

Jackson State football standout Rashard Anderson has passed away. The Forest High School product and a 2000 NFL Draft first round pick played for JSU in the late 90s. Anderson played for the Carolina Panthers for a couple of seasons and ended his pro career playing in Canada. In his career after football he coached Callaway and Murrah High School and also helped patients at the Addie Mcbryde Rehabilitation Center for the Blind. Anderson passed away from prostate cancer at just 45 years old.
