Julio Jones signing 1-year deal to return to NFC South, reports say
Julio Jones is heading back to the NFC South division.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Tuesday night that Jones will join Tom Brady in Tampa Bay.
The former Atlanta Falcons wide receiver is expected to sign a 1-year-old deal with the Buccaneers, according to Schefter.

Seven-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Julio Jones is signing a one-year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per source. The soon-to-be 45-year Tom Brady now will have a chance to throw to the 33-year-old Jones.

The Tennessee Titans released Jones earlier this year. The Falcons traded Jones to the Titans last summer after 10 years with the organization.
Jones ranks first in NFL history with an average of 91.9 yards per game ranks 17th all time with 13,330 receiving yards.

Jones holds the Atlanta franchise record with 848 catches for 12,896 yard and ranks second with his 60 touchdowns.
The wide receiver had a career-best 136 catches for 1,871 yards in 2015. Jones had more than 1,300 receiving yards in six straight seasons until he played only nine games in his final season due to a hamstring injury.
