Junction City man injured in motorcycle crash

Jun. 23—A Junction City man suffered suspected serious injuries after he lost control of his motorcycle on I-70 Wednesday evening.

At around 7 p.m., Patrick S. Noles, 39, was driving his 2016 Victory Motorcycle west on I-70, near Marshall Army Airfield, when he lost control and laid the bike down, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. The motorcycle and driver slid into a guardrail.

Noles, who was not wearing a safety helmet at the time of the crash, was transported to Stormont Vail Hospital for treatment.
