What June's Leo Horoscope Predictions Mean for You

Welcome to June, Leo. Last month left you feeling flirty and as we entered chatty Gemini season. Despite being a fixed sign (and therefore, someone a bit reluctant to change) you're learning to adapt. You stepped up your selfie game and scheduled virtual dates and work calls. You're ruled by the sun, so nothing can stop your shine. However, a full moon in Sagittarius on Friday, June 5 may get you down in the dumps. You want to go explore and travel, and the current circumstances just aren't conducive to that. Try and soothe yourself with some of your favorite indoor activities instead. This same date is a lunar eclipse, which turns your attention inward. You may feel overwhelmed and not want to talk about it. It's OK to take some time. Just be gentle to yourself and layer on the self-care.

Mercury retrograde begins on Thursday, June 18, and goes through Sunday, July 12. Usually, we dread Mercury retrogrades, but this one is unique. It has no planetary aspects but is influenced by the brightest start in the sky, Sirius, a planet associated with wealth and abundance. There will be fewer of the challenges we've come to expect when it comes to Mercury retrograde, and communication in relationships won't be as messy as usual. Even when retrogrades are tough, they give us a second chance to do things. If you have unfinished business with a friend or lover, now is a time to be vulnerable and make it right. Due to the pandemic, many people are actually in a loving and forgiving mood. Once you make peace with your past it's easier to move onward.

The weekend of Saturday, June 20 will be one to remember. To start, it's the Summer Solstice, a celebration of abundance and what's to come. Cancer season also begins, turning your attention to the home and family, chosen or otherwise. Saturday night brings a dark new moon in Cancer. Use this time to set intentions for the future and laugh with loved ones.

The next day, Sunday, June 21, we're hit with a dramatic solar eclipse. You're ruled by the sun, Leo, so you need to be extra careful with your words during this time. It's hard to actually be productive on an eclipse, so your best bet is to stay in, pamper yourself, and engage in any community organizing after the weekend is over.

When dreamy planet Neptune goes retrograde in whimsical Pisces on Monday, June 22, you may feel like you're in a fog. This retrograde lasts until Saturday, November 28. During this time, as a whole, society will try to figure out how to move forward. It may feel tricky to distinguish real life from fantasy. Work on a meditation practice to stay grounded and keep your head on straight. June is a hard month, but it ends on a positive note when Venus goes direct on Thursday, June 25.
