The Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site will host its second annual Juneteenth Foodways Festival on June 16.

The free event will be at 1230 N. Delaware in Indianapolis and will feature Black-owned restaurants and caterers serving four to five moderately priced dishes each.

It aims to engage restaurants and celebrate Black cultural heritage and chefs and their influences on American culture. Restaurants keep 100% of their sales.

Some will recreate recipes of White House chef Laura "Dolly" Johnson.

The presidential site is looking for food and retail partners to participate. Restaurants will get $300 stipends. Those recreating Johnson recipes will get an extra $200.
