Junior College Volleyball: Ridgewater sweeps Anoka-Ramsey

Oct. 18—WILLMAR — The Ridgewater Warriors earned the sweep win over Anoka-Ramsey in a Minnesota College Athletic Conference volleyball match Saturday.

The Warriors beat the Golden Rams 25-23, 25-7, 25-19..

"The hard work we put in practice this week showed in our play the last two days as we continue the hunt for our ticket to regions," Warriors' coach Amanda Bohlsen said.

Harley Kunstleben led Ridgewater with nine kills. Madi Leyendecker had 21 set assists and Tayler Schmidt had 13 digs. All three athletes are from Paynesville.

The Warriors host St. Cloud Community & Technical College on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
