Fans of the stegosaurus, triceratops and tyrannosaurus rex can travel back in time to the Jurassic period in an immersive dinosaur experience returning to the Kentucky Exposition Center in January.

Jurassic Quest will bring a "herd of photorealistic dinosaurs" to Louisville Jan. 5-7 and Jan. 12-15, organizers of the event said in a press release. The dinosaur-related attractions include exhibits, shows, rides, fossil digs and play areas for children.

For its 2024 tour, Jurassic Quest will debut a live video tour led by dinosaur trainers.

Founded in 2013, the traveling dinosaur exhibition allows viewers to get a close look at what the earth's giant creatures would have looked like more than 100 million years ago.
