‘Just Like that!’ Bonnie Raitt to perform at Berglund Center

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Bonnie Raitt is extending her “Just Like That” tour and is making a stop in the Star City.

The Grammy-award-winning singer, songwriter, and guitarist is set to take the spotlight at the Berglund Center on Friday, Nov. 15.

Raitt extended her tour adding over 30 dates in the U.S. The star and her long-time band will kick off the tour in Arizona and Southern California. The crew will then start traveling up the West Coast and finishing in the Pacific Northwest during September and October.

Next, the tour will go southeast and to Florida.

Raitt first made her big break in the music industry in the late 80s with her Grammy-award-winning album “Nick of Time.” With 13 Grammy Awards and over 20 albums, the “Something to Talk About” singer is known for her unique style, mixing the melodies of blues, R&B, rock, and pop.

As she continued her career and love for music, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, Feb. 8 at 10 a.m. on Cyber Club members. On Friday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. They range from around $70 to $126 and can be purchased online, by calling 866-434-8425, or at the Berglund Center Box Office.
