Just days to go, but Uber is in dark on its fate in London

These could be Uber's final days in London.

On Monday (November 25) the city's transport regulator will decide if the ride-hailing app can continue to operate there.

There are no hints what the verdict might be.

Back in 2017, Transport for London, or TfL, rejected renewal of Uber's license.

It cited shortcomings in reporting criminal offenses and doing driver background checks.

Since then Uber has been granted two temporary reprieves.

And has tried to show it's changing its ways in one of its most important markets.

Drivers now have a button enabling them to report abuse.

They also have a direct link to emergency services.

But Uber faces opposition from drivers of London's iconic black cabs.

They argue the firm threatens their livelihood.

And the decision could also get embroiled in politics.

The chairman of TfL is none other than London mayor Sadiq Khan, who's up for re-election in six months.

If he rules against Uber, Londoners will have to find a new ride from Tuesday (November 26).
