Just a few days before Halloween, where in the Rock Hill region can you buy a costume?
Halloween is about a week away that means it’s time to think about costumes.
So here’s the question: Where are the best spots to find a costume? Here’s a breakdown of places everyone, young or old, can get look.
Walmart and Target
Two of the biggest name-brand stores in the Rock Hill region are Walmart and Target.
There’s a whole section with costumes as soon as you walk in Walmart. A few isles are dedicated to just children’s costumes, while another is primarily for adults with a few costumes, face paint, masks and wigs.
On the other hand, Target’s Halloween section isn’t front and center. In fact, it’s tucked away in the back corner of the store.
Still, there are some good options.
Like Walmart, it’s mostly children-centric with a few adult costumes sprinkled in. There’s even some costumes for dogs.
Overall, these two stores are great for families with children. There are enough options, such as their favorite characters from different shows and movies, to make them happy.
Spirit Halloween
For adults looking to get in on the fun, Spirit Halloween is a must.
While it’s the largest Halloween retailer in the United States, it’s only open seasonally and serves as a pop-up store.
There are only a few Spirit Halloween stores in the Rock Hill region. The closest one is at Rock Hill Galleria Mall, while another is at 9559 South Blvd in Charlotte.
While it’s not as accessible as other stores, it definitely packs a punch with a handful of options to choose from. Spirit Halloween has just about any costume you could want.
Party City or shop online
The same can be said about Party City, a retailer with more locations than Spirit Halloween. Party City offers all sorts of unique costumes for everyone.
There are four locations in the Charlotte area.
You can even find Halloween costumes at non-retailers. Costumes have been popping up at thrift stores.
If shopping in person isn’t your thing, all of these listed stores have their own websites where you can shop. However, the biggest online site to order a costume from would be Amazon.
You can find almost anything you’re looking for in a costume. And if you have Amazon Prime, the shipping process tends to be a lot quicker. It’s a good option to have, especially if you’re in a pinch as Oct. 31 approaches.
One thing to note is that costumes will go fast, especially closer to the date. There are still plenty of options to pick from, but it’s smarter to plan ahead and get your costumes soon
