Justin Bieber reveals he's taking a break from music to 'repair some deep rooted issues'

Justin Bieber has told fans he will be putting plans for new music on hold in order to focus on addressing some “deep rooted issues”.

The singer opened up in an emotional Instagram post yesterday evening, in which he revealed that he had decided to prioritise his marriage and his health for the time being.

Sharing what appeared to be a photo of himself with his face cropped from the picture, he addressed his fans’ demands for a new album, writing: “So I read a lot of messages saying you want an album.

“I’ve toured my whole teenage life, and early 20s, I realised and as you guys probably saw I was unhappy last tour and I don’t deserve that and you don’t deserve that, you pay money to come and have a lively energetic fun light concert and I was unable emotionally to give you that near the end of the tour.”

The 25-year-old went on to reveal that he is now “very focused on repairing some of the deep rooted issues that I have as most of us have, so that I don’t fall apart, so that I can sustain my marriage and be the father I want to be.”

He continued: “Music is very important to me but Nothing comes before my family and my health.”

He went on to promise fans that he will eventually return with new music, telling them: “I will come with a kick a** album ASAP, my swag is undeniable and my drive is indescribable, his love is supernatural, his grace is that reliable.”

Bieber’s followers praised him for opening up, and implored him to take a step back in order to focus on himself.

“You deserve your happiness,” one wrote.

“I miss you but I hope you are happy,” another said.

“We love you, we’re with you, we just want to see you well,” a third added.

Last week, Bieber’s wife Hailey Baldwin appeared to hit out at the singer’s devoted fan base, blasting them for being “possessive” and “wanting” to see their relationship fail so soon after their marriage.

“I don’t know if it’s because they want to be able to say, ‘I told you so’ or because they want to be right, I don’t really know what the idea is behind trying to tear somebody’s relationship down, or person down, whatever it may be,” she told Cosmopolitan.

Her comments came after the musician asked fans to “pray” for him as he has been “struggling a lot” and “feeling disconnected and weird”.

“I always bounce back so I’m not worried just wanted to reach out and ask for your [sic] guys to pray for me,” he wrote on Instagram.
