With the offseason comes time to rest and recuperate for football players, and that appears to be what Oregon Ducks legend Justin Herbert will be doing for the next several months.

According to multiple reports on Sunday morning, the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback underwent successful surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. It’s unclear how long Herbert was dealing with this injury throughout the season, but he will spend the next several months working on rehabilitation. Expectations are that he should be available to participate in activities with the team this offseason, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

This is not the only injury that Herbert was dealing with during the season, as the QB also was hampered by a rib injury that was suffered in Week 2 against the Kansas City Chiefs.
