Justin Long reveals he’s married to Kate Bosworth just 1 month after engagement announcement

Justin Long and Kate Bosworth are married.

Long, 44, casually revealed the news on an episode of his podcast, “Life Is Short.” He was speaking about filming “Barbarian” with Bosworth in Bulgaria when he let the news slip.

“I was there while I was really falling in love with my now-wife,” he said. “She came to visit, and I had never been comfortable with … set visits, I was never crazy about. I liked separating the relationship. ... But, I loved having her there and we just had the most magical time.”

The podcast reveal on May 9 came just over a month after Long and Bosworth confirmed their engagement in an April 4 Instagram post. That news had been reported publicly a couple weeks earlier.

Bosworth, 39, and Long reportedly began dating in 2021 after they met while filming “House of Darkness.” At the time, Bosworth was in the process of divorcing her husband of eight years, Michael Polish. Their romance continued on the set of “Barbarian” and into 2022.

“It helped me having her there,” Long said on the podcast. “She’d help me with scenes. It was the best.”

In an earlier podcast episode, Bosworth shared how Long casually proposed to her while they were laying in bed together.

“I looked at Justin and I said … I remember, I smiled at you, and I said, ‘What do you need?’ He really looked at me and he said, ‘To spend my life with you,’” Bosworth revealed.

Long said he had an elaborate proposal planned, but the low-key, heartfelt one “just felt so organic.”
