Juvenile shot on Peach Orchard Road
Deputies are investigating after a male minor was shot Friday at a Cricket Wireless location on Peach Orchard Road.
At about 7 p.m. Friday, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office responded to the mobile phone story for a gunshot victim, according to a news release.
When they arrived, deputies found a male juvenile who was shot at least once in the ankle, according to the release. The minor was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities did not note any suspects or arrests in their released statement.
