May 18—HIGH POINT — Four juveniles in a car were arrested early Wednesday after leading law enforcement officers on a chase that began in Jamestown and ended in High Point.

Guilford County Sheriff's Office deputies went to the area of Sagewood Road in Jamestown shortly before 6:15 a.m. after reports of vehicle break-ins, and when they arrived they saw several people leaving in a car, Sheriff Danny Rogers said.

Officers chased the car into High Point, where the vehicle crashed at Lincoln and Prospect streets, according to the sheriff's office. All four juveniles ran away but were caught shortly afterward.

The sheriff's office isn't releasing information on the juveniles except to say they were all under 18 years old, Communications Specialist Lori Poag told The High Point Enterprise.

Numerous items of property were recovered from the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
