CHESTER — Two Thomas Dale High School students are facing charges related to a series of vandalisms at several Chester businesses and the high school earlier this month.

Chesterfield Police said Tuesday that their investigation into a Dec. 17 incident at TDHS led them to connect the boys, ages 15 and 14, to similar vandalisms at Allen Tire, Sibley's Bar-B-Q restaurant and Chester Muffler & Brake Center, all on state Route 10 just west of the high school.

Among the charges the youths face are breaking and entering, vandalism, possession of burglary tools and arson. Because of their ages, the two suspects were not identified.

Between Dec. 5-15, two vehicles were set on fire at Allen Tire, property was damaged at Sibley's, and cars and trailers were damaged at Chester Muffler & Brake. In addition, police said they believe the youths are also responsible for the thefts of some security cameras at various other locations.

Police said an investigation is continuing. Anyone with possibly related information is asked to contact Chesterfield Police at (804) 748-1251 or Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Crime Solvers at (804) 748-0660. That information may also be shared through the P3Tips mobile app.
