K-pop girl group aespa dropped “Hold On Tight” for the movie soundtrack of the Apple TV+ original film “Tetris.”

The track, which is entirely in English, is the K-pop quartet’s first new solo release following their sophomore mini-album “Girls” in July and the showcase of new songs on their forthcoming album during their inaugural “SYNK: Hyper Line” concert last month.

Other songs on the “Tetris” album include “Benevolence” by DJ Aaron Hibell and a Japanese rendition of “Holding Out For A Hero” by ReN.

"Tetris" portrays the real-life story of Dutch gaming entrepreneur Henk Rogers, played by Taron Egerton, who endeavors to popularize the Russian game with a global audience. Rogers risks everything and takes on the KGB during the end of the Cold War in Russia.

Tetris CEO Maya Rogers spoke with NextShark about the geopolitical thriller, saying, “It's all about friendship. It's about love. It's about connecting with people. That is what made ‘Tetris’ what it is today.”

“Tetris” is streaming now on Apple TV+.
