K-pop girl group Loona to kick off their first-ever world tour with performances in 9 US cities

K-pop girl group Loona announced on Tuesday their first world tour, “Loonatheworld.”

In collaboration with K-pop concert promoters MyMusicTaste, the Blockberry Creative 12-member girl group will kick off their world tour in the U.S., starting their nine-city run in Los Angeles on August 2. They will close out their U.S. leg in New York City on August 19.

Tickets go on sale on June 4 at 12 a.m. KST.

Loona’s world tour announcement follows news of a reported comeback sometime in June. It will be the group’s first new domestic album since the release of their fourth mini-album, “&,” in June 2021 with the title-track music video “Paint the Town.” They released the Japanese singles “Hula Hoop” and “Star Seed” in September last year.
