K-State now offers Aviation Maintenance Certification Program

SALINA, Kan. (KSNW) — Kansas State University Salina is now offering an Aviation Maintenance Certification Program.

The university says the program is a comprehensive 34-week Federal Aviation Administration Airframe certification program. The course is broken up into three modules that include general knowledge, airframe structures and airframe systems.

K-State says the first 10 applicants for the program will receive a full scholarship thanks to a SPARK grant from the state of Kansas. The registration deadline is May 1, with classes starting May 20.
