K9 Resorts Luxury Hotel, a national chain for dog daycare and boarding, is coming to Brookfield
An award-winning luxury pet hotel chain will open its first Wisconsin location in Brookfield.
Here's what to know about K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel and its grand opening at 19255 W. Bluemound Road on Aug. 12.
What is K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel?
The first K9 Resorts opened in New Jersey in 2005. Since then, it's opened dozens more locations in both New Jersey and states across the country, including Texas, New York, Colorado and others.
K9 specializes in cage-free boarding; the dogs still get their own room, but without a traditional kennel.
Pet owners can customize their dog's boarding experience, choosing from a selection of "executive rooms" and "luxury suites," ranging from $55 to $85 a day. Some rooms even have a flatscreen TV that plays "DOGTV," a channel that plays relaxing videos and music for dogs.
Owners can also bring their dogs in for doggie daycare at $38 per full day and $30 per half-day.
What's special about the grand opening of K9 Resorts in Brookfield?
K9 Resorts' grand opening event in Brookfield on Aug. 12 is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
After the ribbon cutting ceremony, all visitors will receive dog toys and treats for attending. The first 50 attendees can enter to win a $500 resort credit.
Customers at the grand opening can receive:
An additional 5, 10 or 20 days free with the purchase of any doggie daycare package
25% off their first boarding package purchase
A free day of doggie daycare
The event will feature yard games, appetizers, refreshments and a photo booth. Kids are welcome to come play, but dogs should stay home for this event, K9 Resorts' Brookfield website says.
