Kaia Gerber and Pete Davidson have reportedly called it quits.
The 18-year-old model got "overwhelmed" by the "Saturday Night Live" comic, 26, Page Six reports, weeks after Davidson joked about getting treatment on the NBC sketch comedy show.
"It looks like Pete and Kaia are over. It got very overwhelming for Kaia," the insider said. "Pete has a certain M.O. and he’s very intense to his girlfriends. Kaia is only 18 and it’s a lot to deal with."
Davidson, who has long been open about his struggles with mental health and sobriety, made headlines in mid-December when he joked during the "Weekend Update" segment on the Eddie Murphy episode of "SNL" that he was going on a "vacation," which many interpreted as him going to rehab.
"I’m going on a little 'vacation,'" Davidson said at the time. "The kind of vacation where insurance pays for some of it, and they take your phone and shoelaces. And you have roommates, but it still costs like $100,000."
"I think it’s safe to say that Pete has been getting some help," a TV source told Page Six this week.
Meanwhile, Gerber has been soaking up the sun in Miami, where she recently vacationed with "Queer Eye" star Antoni Porowski and "13 Reasons Why" actor Tommy Dorfman, who she's been friends with for years now.
Gerber and Davidson were first linked in October after being spotted on a brunch date in New York City. In the months since, it's been widely speculated that her parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, were skeptical about the fledgling romance.
"Cindy’s supportive of Kaia and wants her to be happy. Right now she’s happy with Pete Davidson, so Cindy’s trying not to get involved," a source told Us Weekly in November, seemingly implying that Crawford wanted her daughter to focus on her career. "Kaia’s young, so Cindy’s encouraging her to stay focused on her future. Kaia trusts her mom completely and looks to her as a role model."
Meanwhile, in December, a video of Crawford and Gerber obtained by the Daily Mail went viral that appeared to show them having an intense conversation outside of their daughter's SoHo apartment building, where they were overheard reportedly saying that Davidson had "scratched eyes" and was "freaking out."
Davidson was seen leaving the building shortly thereafter.
The "SNL" comic had previously dated a slew of female celebrities, including Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley and ex-fiancée Ariana Grande. This was Gerber's first high-profile romance.
