Kailua farmers market finds new home at Enchanted Lake Center

Jul. 13—The Kailua Town Farmers Market has found a new home—and is reopening this Sunday at the Enchanted Lake Center parking lot anchored by Kailua Cinemas.

Market hours will be from 8 a.m. to noon Sundays.

The market, run by FarmLovers, after a two-year run at Pali Lanes in Kailua, where it had been operating in the parking lot since being booted from Kailua Elementary School after a six-year run.

FarmLovers says there will be more than 60 booths at the new location, including more than 20 offering produce from Oahu farms.

Vendors at the market will be selling numerous food items—from fresh-made pasta to pastries, crepes, honey slushies, poke, dim sum, Thai cuisine, fresh-baked artisan pizza, smoothies, and gluten-free baked goods.

The market will also feature fresh-caught fish, tropical fruits, locally-made art, and woodwork, among other items.

An opening ceremony and blessing will be held at 7 :45 a.m. Sunday at 1090 Keolu Drive. Parking and admission are free.
