Following the finale of The Big Bang Theory, actress Kaley Cuoco hasn't slowed down. Her workouts are just as intense and her schedule is only going to get crazier with a newly minted production deal with Warner Brothers and upcoming project, The Flight Attendant, based on the novel by Chris Bohjalian, the Associated Press reported.

In between making some serious career moves, she has also taken time out for self-care in the spa, but her version of recovery includes tough-love treatments like cupping and gua sha.

In a new series of Instagram stories, Kaley is back in the spa filming her treatments. On Kaley's menu today? Acupuncture and trigger point head massage. "I'm back for more," she says. (FYI: "Trigger point massage" can refer to massaging areas on the body that are "trigger points," or areas where the muscles have tensed up, according to the Cleveland Clinic.)

Kaley filmed the videos while lying on the treatment bed and quizzing her therapist, Flory, who gave the low-down on the techniques. Kaley says, "My head has been hurting and my jaw." Flory says she's doing trigger point for TMJ (FYI that's short for temporomandibular joint and muscle disorders, or pain in the jaw). Based on Kaley's grimaces, the treatment is still painful.

That's not all. Kaley says she's seeking relief from back pain as well. For that, her therapist Flory switches gears to acupuncture. According to the National Center For Complementary and Integrative Health, acupuncture may help ease chronic pain including low-back pain, neck pain, and knee pain. No wonder Kaley grits through the acupuncture and her fear of needles. She writes: "I hate needles more than anything."

In the video, her therapist places needles around her back. When she inserts them, Kaley says "ouch" and squints her eyes in pain. The actress added an adorable porcupine sticker to her final story to really send her point home.

Kudos to Kaley for continuing to take care of herself when she needs some extra TLC.
