Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra brought Ukraine its third victory at the Eurovision Song Contest, getting 631 points. Previously Ukraine took the trophy home in 2004 and in 2016.

Kalush used the stage to call the world to rescue Ukrainian servicemen from the Azovstal steel mill, the last Ukrainian stronghold in Russian-occupied Mariupol.

"Save Mariupol, save Azovstal right now," lead singer Oleh Psiuk said on stage after the performance.

Kalush Orchestra came second in the Ukrainian national selection after rapper Alina Pash. However, after it emerged that Pash's team violated the rules of the Ukrainian Eurovision and forged a document on the singer's entry to Crimea in 2015, the Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne decided to send Kalush.

"Stefania" is a lullaby Kalush Orchestra's rapper Psiuk dedicated to his mother of the same name.

"Thank you for supporting us! This victory is for every Ukrainian. Slava Ukraini!" Psiuk said after victory.
