On top of being a super successful model and stepdaughter of U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris, Ella Emhoff is officially one of the best dressed people on this year's Met Gala red carpet. Not to mention, one of the most comfortably dressed.
Ella showed up wearing a pair of red Stella McCartney for Adidas pants and a semi-sheer bodysuit, and she matched the look with some sneakers. But not just any sneakers. Ella said she made sure they had a platform "so I still get to feel like a tall legend."
I mean...I ADORE IT!
“I’m someone who’s really passionate about comfort,” Ella told the New York Times. “Even though this is the Met, everyone is allowed to still feel comfortable in their own skin, their own style. There’s no playbook to how you dress to this.”
She added "It’s definitely something I would wear in my own day-to-day life. It makes me feel more comfortable in my own skin, in this environment that I’m not really used to.”
FYI, Ella will be the face of an Adidas by Stella McCartney campaign this fall, so this all makes a lot of sense!
