How Kansas basketball's Jalen Wilson, David McCormack tested at NBA G League Elite Camp
LAWRENCE — Jalen Wilson may have looked a little caught off guard at first, but soon a smile crossed his face as he learned this week he had earned an invitation to the NBA’s draft combine.
Wilson could be seen reacting to the news for the first time in a video posted on the NBA G League’s Twitter account. He was one of seven athletes who participated in the NBA G League Elite Camp, who were selected to remain and Chicago and be a part of the combine. And while Wilson’s ability to hit 3s in the camp scrimmages Monday and Tuesday had certainly been highlight for Kansas basketball fans, one has to wonder what it might have meant to see a Jayhawks standout recognized in that fashion.

But while that all holds critical places in what transpires over the course of the week, it’s not all that occurs. There’s also a lot of testing that takes place. Wilson and fellow Kansas athlete David McCormack went through it at the NBA G League Elite Camp, in addition to the scrimmages with other college stars, and here’s how they did:
