Kansas City area multiple health code violations: Hy-Vee, Blue Koi, Subway, more

Here are area restaurants and grocery stores with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links to the reports are not available).

Bonito Michoacan, 1150 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had 11 priority violations during a Jan. 18 routine inspection.

Hy-Vee, 6655 Martway St., Mission, had nine priority violations during a Jan. 19 inspection following a complaint.

Dancing Crab Cajun Seafood & Bar, Legends Outlets Kansas City, 1713 Village West Parkway, Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during a Jan. 19 inspection following a complaint.

Blue Koi, Mission Farms, 10581 Mission Road, Leawood, had eight priority violations during a Jan. 18 joint inspection.

Ruchi Indian Cuisine, 11168 Antioch Road, Overland Park, had eight priority violations during a Jan. 18 inspection following a complaint.
