Kansas City area restaurants with health code violations: Goodcents, Drunken Worm, more

Here are area restaurants with seven or more priority or critical health code violations, with highlighted links to some original public record reports.

Restaurants correct most violations at the time of the original inspection or shortly thereafter. Links to the follow-up inspections show how each establishment has corrected or is working to correct any remaining violations.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture cited these operations for seven or more priority health code violations (direct links to the reports are not available).

Bear Necessities Coffee Bar, 9609 W. 87th St., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during a May 22 inspection for an expired license.

Goodcents, 7933 State Ave., Kansas City, Kansas, had eight priority violations during a May 17 inspection for an expired license.

La Tabasquena, ice cream, 115 S. Clairborne Road, Suite E, Olathe, had eight priority violations during a May 22 inspection for an expired license.

Molcajete’s Tacos & Tequila, 941 Massachusetts St., Lawrence, had eight priority violations during a May 17 inspection following a complaint.

Pak Halal International Foods South, 8010 W. 151st St., Overland Park, had eight priority violations during a May 18 joint inspection.

India Palace, 129 E. 10th St., Lawrence, had seven priority violations during a May 18 routine inspection.

Tortilla Ranch, 6029 Metcalf Ave., Mission, had seven priority violations during a May 18 inspection for an expired license.

Old Folks Lounge, 4805 E. 24th St., had eight critical violations during a May 19 routine inspection.

Anita’s Famous Rolls, 7715 N.W. Prairie View Road, had seven critical violations during a May 18 routine inspection.
