The Chiefs’ group of players not playing Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium doesn’t carry any surprises.

The Chiefs list kicker Harrison Butker (left ankle sprain), defensive end Mike Danna (calf), running back Ronald Jones, quarterback Shane Buechele, rookie offensive lineman Darian Kinnard, defensive end Joshua Kaindoh and rookie defensive end Benton Whitley as inactive.

Jones is a healthy inactive for a third straight game, meaning the Chiefs will continue to go a backfield consisting of Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Jerick McKinnon and rookie Isiah Pacheco along with fullback Michael Burton.

Butker, who misses a second straight game, and Danna were previously ruled out on Friday’s official injury report.

With Butker down, the Chiefs will once again rely on Matt Ammendola, who was elevated Saturday from the practice squad, to handle the kicking duties. Ammendola filled in for Butker in Week 2 and contributed two field goals and three extra points.

Danna suffered the calf injury in the second half of Week 2’s game and missed all three days of practice the past week. To bolter depth, defensive end Malik Herring is active for the first time this season.

The Chiefs on Saturday also elevated cornerback Dicaprio Bootle from the practice squad, and he will contribute on special teams and provide depth to the defensive backs group.

For the Colts, linebacker Shaquille Leonard (back), tackle Bernhard Raimann, quarterback Sam Ehlinger, cornerback Dallis Flowers, wide receiver Dezmon Patmon and offensive lineman Luke Tenuta are inactive.

Leonard, a three-time All-Pro, will miss a third straight game for the Colts.
