Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes recognized by SEAL Legacy Foundation

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes often generously gives through his 15 and the Mahomies Foundation.

On Monday night during the second annual 15 and the Mahomies Foundation Gala, Mahomes and his organization received.

The SEAL Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support to families of wounded and fallen U.S Navy SEALs, presented Mahomes an award.

“We’re proud to honor Chiefs QB and Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes with the SEAL Legacy Foundation Patriot Award for providing scholarships for children of fallen U.S. Navy SEALs,” the organization tweeted Wednesday afternoon through its verified account. “Thank you, Patrick!”

Since its establishment in 2019, the 15 and the Mahomies Foundation has been active in improving the lives of children through charitable donations and grants. The organization also sponsored youth football camps through a partnership with USA Football during this past summer.

Mahomes’ organization on Monday night funded 15 college scholarships and gave 15 charitable grants totaling $15,015.15, the Foundation tweeted.
