The Kansas City Chiefs will sell playoff tickets next week. Here’s what to know.

The stockings are hung by the chimney with care, which means two things in Kansas City: St. Nicholas will soon arrive, and it won’t be long until Chiefs playoff tickets are sold.

On Monday, the team announced that starting Monday, Dec. 13, it would sell single-game tickets for a potential Wild Card game at Arrowhead Stadium.

As things stand now, the Chiefs would be host to a game in the opening round of the NFL playoffs, which will be played on Saturday, Jan. 15-Monday, Jan. 17.

All tickets will be sold online on the Chiefs’ website.

There will be a presale to buy single-game postseason tickets for Jackson County taxpayers from 8-10 a.m. Monday. Because the tickets are being sold online, anyone buying a ticket must use a credit card with a billing zip code within Jackson County to participate, per the Chiefs.

Season-ticket holders can “opt-in to their playoff tickets on a pay-as-we-play basis, with accounts only being charged once each home postseason game is confirmed,” the Chiefs said.

At 11 a.m. Monday, season-ticket holders will have an opportunity to purchase additional single-game tickets.

The Chiefs said season-ticket holders will receive Information on how to buy tickets in an email.

Fans who are not season-ticket holders can buy tickets for any potential home game by putting down a deposit on a 2022 season ticket or buying a playoff pack. The latter is sold on the team’s “pay-as-we-play basis at single-game pricing.”

The Chiefs ticket office will not be open for in-person purchasing of tickets, and delivery of the tickets will be mobile only.
