East Texans watch as Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl LVIII

LAS VEGAS (KETK) – The Kansas City Chiefs have won Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. This is East Texas native Patrick Mahomes’ third ever Super Bowl win.

The final score was Kansas City Chief’s – 25 and San Francisco 49er’s – 22.

Whitehouse city mayor declares February 11th as Patrick Mahomes Day

In Whitehouse, Mahomes’ hometown, Montez Creekside Kitchen held a watch party in support of the Chiefs quarterback. Although the kitchen is usually closed on Sunday’s they opened their doors for fans. People in the crowd gathered in Chiefs gear rooting on the once Whitehouse Wildcat.

“Patrick is the man, I’ve seen this kid grow since he was like five years old, he’s an unbelievable athlete,” Derrick White said. “We’re really proud, that’s why we come out.”
