Who's going to win Super Bowl 58, the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs?

Will the winner go to Disney World in Orlando?

If Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is picked to visit the "most magical place on Earth," what are the odds he'll bring his main squeeze Taylor Swift?

Burning questions, we know, and we'll find out Super Bowl Sunday, Feb. 11. Here's what we do know about the game, Swift and Kelce's plans to see each other, and the long-running "I'm going to Disney World!" tradition.

What is Super Bowl 58?

Super Bowl Sunday is America's unofficial national holiday. Even people who care less about the NFL watch the Super Bowl for — take your pick — the commercials, the halftime show with this year's performer Usher, the pregame show, the parties and because there is nothing else on TV during that time slot. All are why the Super Bowl is the top-rated television show every year, and Super Bowl broadcasts fill the list of the Top 10 watched TV programs of all time.

Who's playing in Super Bowl 2024? When does Super Bowl 58 start?

Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers is set to kick off at 6:30 p.m. ET Sunday, Feb. 11, 2024. The game will be played at Allegiant Stadium, home of the Las Vegas Raiders. Super Bowl 58 will air on CBS.

Four years ago, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl at Hard Rock Stadium in South Florida. On Super Bowl Sunday — America's unofficial national holiday — the two meet again in Las Vegas in the biggest sporting event in the country.

That 31-20 win in 2020 marked the beginning of an era of dominance for the Chiefs. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named Super Bowl MVP after leading a 10-point fourth-quarter comeback with two touchdown passes, and coach Andy Reid won his first Lombardi Trophy.

The Chiefs would make four of the five Super Bowls this decade. The team won its second championship last season in a 38-35 back-and-forth bout with the Philadelphia Eagles, with Mahomes again claiming MVP honors after throwing three TDs.

Is Taylor Swift going to Super Bowl 2024?

Swift has been to 12 Chiefs games this season, including each of the playoff games.

On Saturday, Feb. 10, the day before the Super Bowl, Swift will be performing in Japan for her Eras Tour. Despite the time difference, however, she could potentially still make it to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to watch the big game.

Do football players really go to Disney every year after the Super Bowl?

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady (left) and wide receiver Julian Edelman (right) celebrated their Super Bowl LIII victory Monday, Feb. 4, 2019, at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. As part of their visit, the pair channeled the Force with Jedi robes and lightsabers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open this fall.

There have been exceptions over the years, but for the most part, certain players from the winning team, usually the MVP (or most valuable player) visit Disneyland or Disney World the day after the Super Bowl. Here's a recap of the past five years:

  • Super Bowl LVII (aka Super Bowl 2023 or Super Bowl 57) was held in Arizona, and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes said, "I'm going to Disneyland!"

  • Super Bowl LVI (aka Super Bowl 2022 or Super Bowl 56) was held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on Feb. 13, 2022. After winning the game, Los Angeles' Rams' MVP Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald and Matthew Stafford said, "I'm going to Disneyland!"

  • Super Bowl LV (aka Super Bowl 2021 or Super Bowl 55) was held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, on Feb. 7, 2021. After winning his seventh Super Bowl championship, then-quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tom Brady cemented his status as the GOAT of football and was named MVP. He and Bucs teammate Rob Gronkowski (or Gronk) were going to attend a parade at Disney World, but it was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Not to worry, Brady and Gronk visited the Magic Kingdom with their families to celebrate their win. Brady later retired from the NFL on Feb. 1, 2022, unretired a month later, then officially retired Feb. 1, 2023.

  • Super Bowl LIV (aka Super Bowl 2020 or Super Bowl 54) was held in Miami, on Feb. 2, 2020. After winning his first Super Bowl championship, MVP and quarterback Patrick Mahomes declared he was going to Disney World.

  • Super Bowl LIII (aka Super Bowl 2019 or Super Bowl 53) was held in Atlanta, on Feb. 3, 2019. Before Tom Brady and then-wife supermodel Gisele Bundchen called Florida home, the superstar quarterback fulfilled a tradition: After winning the Super Bowl for the New England Patriots, he went to Disney World. Brady and wide receiver Julian Edelman celebrated their Super Bowl LIII victory Feb. 4, 2019, at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando. As part of their visit, the pair went to the Magic Kingdom, then channeled Jedi warriors by donning robes and lightsabers at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Brady and Edelman even got a sneak peek at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, which opened later that year.

Will Taylor Swift go to Disney World with Travis Kelce if Kansas City Chiefs win Super Bowl 2024?

It's not known when Taylor Swift will arrive in Las Vegas to support boyfriend Travis Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, for Super Bowl 58. She will have traveled from Japan following her Eras Tour concert to the U.S. for the big game.

Typically, the MVP of the game is chosen to attend a Disney theme park, either Disneyland in Anaheim, California, or the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando.

We'll find out on Super Bowl Sunday who will win, who will be chosen to go to a Disney theme park, and whether that Disney theme park will be in California or Florida. If the Chiefs do win, will Mahomes and Kelce represent the team at Disney, and will they bring their significant others, wife Brittany Mahomes, and superstar Swift?

Only time will tell.
