Kansas City Mavericks play host to Allen Americans in squared-up playoff series Monday
The Kansas City Mavericks have one home game left in their first ECHL Kelly Cup playoff series since the 2018-19 season.
They’ll be seeking to take a 2-1 lead on the Allen Americans Monday night at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence before the best-of-seven affair continues in Texas.
The Mavericks beat the Americans 3-2 Thursday night at Cable Dahmer Arena to even the series at one game apiece.

Cade Borchardt, Tristan Mullin and A.J. Vanderbeck scored for the Mavericks. KC goalkeeper Shane Starrett recorded 24 saves.
Game 3 is set for Monday night at Cable Dahmer Arena. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.
