Kansas City things to do: Monster Jam, Willie Nelson, the launch of festival season

Festival season swings into gear this weekend with events throughout the region, including two in the downtown area.

The Kansas City AAPI Festival will celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month at Columbus Square Park, and the Kansas City Folk Festival will bring music and the arts to Washington Square Park.
