Kansas football officially announces additions of 13 transfers to Jayhawks’ 2023 roster

LAWRENCE — Kansas football made the additions of 13 transfers to the Jayhawks’ 2023 roster Tuesday.

There are six newcomers on defense, spread across each level of the unit. Five more come on offense, spread across the offensive line, running back and tight end rooms. And two more are specialists, rounding out a class that's ranked by 247Sports as the 36th-best transfer class in the nation.

Here’s a look at the 13, and where they transferred in from:

Austin Booker (Minnesota, redshirt sophomore defensive lineman)

JB Brown (Bowling Green, redshirt sophomore linebacker)

Logan Brown (Wisconsin, redshirt junior offensive lineman)

Hunter Barlow (Hutchinson Community College, junior offensive lineman)

Patrick Joyner Jr. (Utah State, senior defensive end)

Seth Keller (Texas State, redshirt senior kicker)

Gage Keys (Minnesota, redshirt sophomore defensive lineman)

Spencer Lovell (California, redshirt senior offensive lineman)

Dylan McDuffie (redshirt senior running back, Georgia Tech)

Damarius McGhee (sophomore cornerback, LSU)

Max Muehlberger (redshirt freshman tight end, Oklahoma State)

Devin Phillips (redshirt senior defensive lineman, Colorado State)

Charlie Weinrich (redshirt freshman kicker, Nebraska)
