Kansas State’s Big 12 basketball schedule won’t feature any Monday games this season

You won’t find any Kansas State men’s basketball games on “Big Monday” this season.

The Big 12 announced its conference schedule on Friday, and the Wildcats were not selected for any of the highest-profile TV slots available on ESPN.

In Jerome Tang’s first season as coach, K-State will play nine conference games on Saturday, eight on Tuesday and one on Wednesday.

The majority of those games will be carried on ESPNU or ESPN2, with five games landing on ESPN+ and one on the Longhorn Network.

K-State will open the Big 12 portion of its season on Dec. 31 when it hosts West Virginia.

The Wildcats will host Kansas at 6 p.m. on Jan. 17 inside Bramlage Coliseum and then play the Jayhawks on the road Jan. 31.

The Big 12 schedule comes to an end on the road against West Virginia on March 4.
