Kansas State football's game against Missouri delayed again due to weather. When will play resume?

After one delay to Kansas State's game against Missouri, there was another break in the action.

Kansas State football's game against Missouri was delayed once before kickoff by 15 minutes due to lightning near Bill Snyder Family Stadium. And then, midway through the second quarter, another delay happened.

Officials paused the game with 7:44 left in the first half, saying lightning was spotted near the stadium. The game picked up around 1:10 p.m. CT.

Play resumed just around 1:10 after three lightning strikes near the stadium delayed the action.

There must be at least 30 minutes without a lightning strike for the game to start back up. The first delay came at 12:16 p.m. CT. Another strike happened at 12:30 and 12:38.

Kickoff for Kansas State football's game against Missouri was delayed

K-State's game against former rival Missouri didn't kick off at the originally scheduled 11 a.m. CT time. Lightning in the vicinity of Bill Snyder Family Stadium pushed kickoff back by approximately 15 minutes.

Weather in Manhattan, Kansas, for the K-State football game

Manhattan, Kansas is forecasted for an 85% chance of rain at 11 a.m. CT Saturday, according to Accuweather's website. The temperature is projected at 64 degrees and winds are forecasted at 10 mph coming from the northeast, with gusts expected up to 15 mph.

Accuweather says there's an 85% chance of rain from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. CT, before it drops to 71% at 2 p.m. and 49% at 3 p.m. There's at least a 46% chance of rain the rest of the day, according to Accuweather.

Does Bill Snyder Family Stadium allow umbrellas?

Nope.

According to Kansas State athletics' website, umbrellas are among the prohibited items for games at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Fans are encouraged to bring appropriate rain gear, such as ponchos, in case of less-than-ideal weather. Kansas State's policy states that fans are responsible for umbrellas if they are left at gates.

Kansas State's football policy states that alcoholic beverages and controlled substances, bags that don't meet the clear bag policy, firearms and explosives, food and beverages, noisemakers, chairback seats exceeding 18 inches in width, large flags, oversized strollers and live animals, among other things, are prohibited.
