Independent presidential candidate and former child actor Brock Pierce has publicly invited Kanye West to a third-party presidential debate in Wyoming.

West did not qualify for the presidential ballot in Wyoming, but he does own a home in the state. Pierce, despite his lack of affiliation with any party, is in fact on the Wyoming ballot.

West has not publicly responded to the invite, but five candidates are scheduled to debate Saturday night in Cheyenne: Pierce, Howie Hawkins of the Green Party, Don Blankenship of the Constitution Party, Brian Carroll of the American Solidarity Party and Gloria La Riva of the Party for Socialism & Liberation.

Pierce, who starred as a young Gordon Bombay in “The Mighty Ducks” and as the titular character in Disney’s “First Kid,” has made Wyoming the focus of his campaign, the Casper Star-Tribune reported. In between his child acting career and his presidential run, Pierce became a cryptocurrency billionaire.

West is only on the ballot in 12 of 50 states, and recently begged for write-in votes in a TV ad.

If West does join the debate, he won’t be the only artist involved. Pierce’s chief campaign strategist is mid-2000s pop star Akon.
