Kanye West has responded to Kim Kardashian's divorce petition, and the exes are very much on the same page.

Kim officially filed the petition back in February, with TMZ reporting the reality star asked for joint legal and physical custody of their four kids, North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, one.

In Kanye's divorce filing, he is also requesting joint legal and physical custody of their children. However, TMZ suggests it "doesn't automatically mean a 50/50 split and it's likely Kim will have the kids the lion's share of the time".

Similarly, Kanye - like Kim - isn't seeking spousal support. TMZ also notes neither Kim or Kanye listed a date of separation on the documents, so it's unclear when the couple decided to part ways, but divorce rumours started circulating at the start of the year.

While neither of them have addressed the news directly, Kim did recently open up about their marriage in the new episodes of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

During the 2020 elections, Kanye attempted to run for president, and although Kim initially threw her support behind her husband, she later spoke out about his mental health at that time.

When asked how she was coping during that time on KUWTK, Kim replied, "I'm sane" before responding to a question about whether Kanye was actually hoping to be president. "That is what I'm not sure of. It's been a long day."

While in a confessional, she added, "It's no secret that everyone sees things in the media about my life with Kanye, but I've always been really respectful in not talking about [our] issues… I mean, you guys clearly see them on Twitter, so I'm still gonna choose to not really talk about it here.

"I try to just support him. I don't want to talk about it on camera. I just don't want to talk about Kanye or anything."

Later, she continued, "Kanye's been in Wyoming and he's been posting a lot of things on social media, so that is a little bit frustrating. But you just kind of have to separate yourself from what's going on at home and what's going on on the internet. So I'm trying to go to Wyoming so I can be with him."

Kim officially filed the divorce papers on February 19.
