Kanye West has returned to Twitter with two posts insisting he is “quite alright” following concern over his recent behaviour.

The rapper, 43, officially announced his late decision to run in this year’s US presidential elections earlier this month.

At the launch event, he made a number of shocking revelations, including the claim that Kim Kardashian considered terminating her first pregnancy.

West then sent a slew of now-deleted tweets in which he said he had been “trying to divorce” Kardashian and referred to his mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, as “Kris Jong-Un.”

West has been staying at his ranch in Wyoming and earlier this week, Kardashian was spotted arriving for “crisis talks” - before returning to Los Angeles by private jet just days later.

Tweeting on Friday afternoon, he directly addressed those concerned for his welfare.

Making reference to the speech which saw him become emotional at the thought of North not being born, he wrote: “I cried at the thought of aborting my first born and everyone was so concerned about me... I’m concerned for the world that feels you shouldn’t cry about this subject.”

Minutes later, he added: “There is a tactic of 4 D’s [...] Distract, Discredit, Dismiss, To Destroy. I am quite alright. Take a second and think about what is being projected here.”

Kardashian previously broke her silence on West’s behaviour by reminding the world that he has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.

“Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words sometimes do not align with his intentions,” she wrote. “Living with bipolar disorder does not diminish or invalidate his dreams and his creative ideas, no matter how big or unobtainable they may feel to some.

“That is part of his genius and as we have all witnessed, many of his big dreams have come true.”

West then apologised to his wife of six years via Twitter.

“I would like to apologise to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter. I did not cover her like she has covered me,” he wrote.

“To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.”

A handful of West’s concerned friends have visited the ranch in recent weeks, with Justin Bieber and Dave Chappelle both stopping by.
