A med spa touted by the Kardashians and Jenners for its laser hair removal services is opening a new store in Meridian. It’s the chain’s first spa in Idaho.

Sev Laser, based in Los Angeles, offers injectables, skin-tightening treatments and microneedling, in addition to laser hair removal, a spokesperson told the Idaho Statesman. The business has dozens of stores around the country, though most are located in California.

The Meridian store opens Saturday at 1492 N. Webb Ave., off Fairview Avenue between Eagle and Locust Grove roads. A grand opening event is scheduled for mid-February.

The various treatments are performed by estheticians, the spokesperson said, not by board-certified dermatologists as the American Academy of Dermatology recommends. Its staff also includes registered nurses and laser technicians. All its services are approved by the Food and Drug Administration, according to its website.

Single laser hair-removal sessions range from $20 to $525. Six-session packages begin at $100 and go up to $2,625. A detailed pricing list is on the business’s website.

Sev Laser is led by Dr. Ehsan Ali, who oversees the chain’s operations. It was founded in 2010 by Armenian-American Sevana Petrosian, who started the company at a small hair salon and quickly grew her clientele to include high-profile celebrities like Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Eva Longoria, Rita Ora and Sofia Richie Grainge, according to a news release.
