Karlie Kloss clarifies political stance after viral 'Project Runway' clip about the Kushners

Karlie Kloss is coming clean about her political stance.

During an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," the 27-year-old model, who is married to Joshua Kushner, cleared up some speculation after a tense "Project Runway" moment related to her family went viral.

Earlier this month, a contestant on the Bravo fashion competition series awkwardly brought up Kloss' in-laws: senior advisor to President Donald Trump Jared Kushner and his wife Ivanka Trump.

Now, Kloss is making things clear.

"I'm sure I'm not the only person in this country who does not necessarily agree with their family on politics," she told Cohen. "I voted as a Democrat in 2016 and I plan to do the same in 2020."

She continued, "I"m very passionate about different issues, women's reproductive health and you know, I'm very involved with Planned Parenthood."

Cohen then turned the focus onto her "love story" with Joshua, saying they fell in love "long before (Trump's) election."

"I met my man in 2012, I was 19 years old – it was 2012, it was a different world," she said. "My man and I have been through a lot together, and I'm so proud that he's my partner. It's not been easy but it's worth it. And I would make that same decision a million times again."

In June 2019, Kloss and her husband threw an elaborate wedding bash after getting married in a low-key ceremony eight months prior.

Their Oct. 2018 event was a small Jewish ceremony with no more than 80 guests in upstate New York, People reported at the time.

In Oct. 2019, a year after tying the knot, Kloss gave her fans a peek into what went into designing her dazzling wedding dress.

"364 days later, the making of my beautiful wedding dress," Kloss wrote on Instagram, captioning a photo of her in the custom Christian Dior gown.
